Turns out possums aren't really dangerous if you leave them alone which Dakota was not. She chased him up on our super tall back fence and he eventually disappeared over the top. But not before Dakota tried multiple times to climb the fence. Grant and I were highly entertained.
After the possum excitement died down and we'd had a healthy breakfast of carrots and squash (mommy had coffee) Grant and I tried out his fun Baby Einstein Entertainer. We've tried it before but it did not go over too well. Today was better.
I'm thinking it went over better today because we were also watching The Today Show. Yes, we are raising a child who loves the T.V. even though I know all you good moms out there turn off your T.V.'s when your little one is in the room. I am apparently not a "good mom."
What do you think of the new blog layout? Thought we'd spice things up a bit now that I'm 30! :)

Wait, what's that sound? Oh right-- it's just the sound of all of G's brain cells DYING. HA HA HA. I'm totally kidding! I'm sure we'd watch far more TV if it were on the "sunny" floor and not in the cold dungeon downstairs. I mean, come on-- you totally exposed Grant to some great biological lessons with the possum so he now needs a good helping of news. You're just covering your bases. And I love the new blog format!
happy belated birthday!!! i intended to send the birthday wishes on your birthday, but this is my first day at the computer all week!! love the new blog background. and don't worry, my boys get a healthy dose of TV daily. just wait in another year, he may have a favorite show. both of my boys are still Dora addicts, esp. Jayce. But jayce say lots of spanish words learned on dora and loves to count with her!
