Happy Birthday, Gip!

Today is a very special person's birthday!!!!

After a little brunch at one of our favorite spots, Mac's, we headed over for a little cake and celebrating to Mammaw and Poppy-Ray's new apartment.

(*Side Note* For those of you who don't know, my dad's parents, a.k.a. Mammaw and Poppy-Ray, have lived in DeRidder, LA for as long as I've been alive...maybe longer. But they finally agreed to relocate to a very lovely assisted living facility on the other side of the highway from us. We are thrilled to have them so close though I'm pretty sure after having to move my brother and sister-in-law to Oregon and then turning around and having to pack up and move my grandparents to Texas my Dad may be feeling a little older than his years. It's been a rough few months for the young whipper snapper.)
But we had fun celebrating and it was extra fun having Mammaw and Poppy-Ray here to celebrate with us!



Gip may or may not have actually gotten to blow out his birthday candles. Someone REALLY, REALLY likes blowing out birthday candles and eating cupcakes. ;)
