Here are Daddy and Grant discussing the whole plan. If the cookies are pink you're getting a sister and if the cookies are blue you're getting a brother.
Grant insisted the whole time that the cookies are pink and he wanted a "guwl."
But he was all smiles when the BLUE cookies came out and he was so good and understood immediately that meant he was getting a brother. He keeps asking us when his brother is coming. :)
Cheers to our newest little man! So excited for these 2 boys to be the best of friends!
And even more importantly than all this fun stuff was that the baby looked great. He is active with a strong heartbeat and all looks to be in order. They took NINE vials of blood from me and are running lots of tests to check on things. I won't get those results back for another week but we were thrilled that the baby looks so good and healthy!

Your "cookie secret" is a WONDERFUL way to share the surprise with both Jason and Grant! Glad the little guy cooperated ;) I had to share this "cookie secret" with my department (they are wondering if Janet and co-workers are now munching on pink cookies !! ) All are impressed :)
