Festive

The day after Thanksgiving I had Jason dragging out the Christmas decorations. :) I do wait until after Thanksgiving but then it's "game-on" because let's face it, you really only have a month to enjoy all of your Christmas decorations. They just don't look right to me after December 25th. :)

I kept it very low key this year as I am not 100% sure I won't be having a baby around Christmas but we put up the tree and our stockings and one of my favorite things....

....these are pictures of Grant each year with Santa. It is so fun to see how much he changes each year. Love our tradition of going to Neiman's for lunch and Santa pictures with Gigi every year!

And you can't have Christmas without a nativity scene. I have several but limited it this year to Grant's...

...and to the one Gram Safran started for me when Jason and I got married and my mom has added to every year. The collection is growing, Gram!



And we do advent in our family, do you? We try to make it a special, fun night and get Grant involved and looking forward to it. He likes to eat with the candle(s) lit and though we know he doesn't completely understand everything it is amazing what these little ones pick up.
