Christmas Light Parade

Grapevine does an annual Christmas light parade and we decided to check it out this year. Jason and I went several years ago before we had Grant and it was a little 20 minute parade and they had hot chocolate and treats in all the shops on Main Street. It was cute but we hadn't been back since. So Thursday night we invited Gigi and Gip to come over and watch the parade with us. Jason didn't get home from work in time to join us but we had a good time anyway.

The crazy part was about an hour in to the parade and we still couldn't see the end! Seriously. Long. Parade. Grant was at his parade-watching limit after an hour so we packed up and headed to the car. No idea what time the thing ended but I'm guessing it went on at least another half hour after we left. I don't even think the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is that long!!!

Gigi provided some Skittles for a little parade watching snack.

Lots of old cars with lights strung all over them.

And every parade has to have a band right? This one had at least 5 from the area high schools and middle schools.

Thanks for joining us for the marathon, world record setting, longest parade EVER, Gigi and Gip! :)
