It is true that time just flies by and I'm a little scared of how quickly it's passing.
Grant is such a huge joy to us and so far this 2.5-3 age has just been the most fun. I think it may be my favorite age....although I may say the same thing next year too. :)
Grant is a compassionate, kind, intelligent, extremely verbal kid who does not like to be in trouble. He is very coordinated and detail oriented. He picks up his toys and loves a clean house which cracks us up because his mommy may or may not have some similar OCD tendencies. ;) He LOVES to read too which makes us so happy!
Some of his favorite things right now are soccer, football, firetrucks, and construction trucks. He loves to go to the library, Chick-Fil-A, Gigi's house, the park, Jazzercise, church, and after our trip to San Diego recently, hotels, and airplanes are a big hit too. :)
What thrills us most is Grant's little heart being open to God's word. He learns a Bible verse each month at Mother's Day Out and it melts my heart to hear him recite his verse each week. There is something about The Truth coming from the mouth of a child that takes your breath away. I can't help but think it must bring a tear to God's eye and a smile to His heart as well. Our greatest prayer for Grant (and Blake too) is that he will love the Lord with all his heart, soul, and mind. Everything else is just icing on the cake.
Happy 3rd birthday, Grant! Mom and Dad love you sooooo much!

It's probably good that we don't live by you since G would NEVER want to come over to our house that is NEVER picked up! :-) Glad you got such a smiley pic! And my word verifications is "balling" which sounds appropriate for a sports-loving boy! (this is not to be confused with "bawling" which may soon happen again at your house with little Blake! ;-)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GRANT!!!!!
Loved the update on Grant and glad he is such a happy little one. I can't believe he is already three.
Your posts keep me up to date on the Texas happenings. Thanks. Great Gram Safran
