The Greats

Grant is one blessed little boy in more ways than one, but one of the most unique blessings God has granted him thus far in life is the chance to know his great-grandparents. Currently, Grant has 3 living great-grandparents on my side and 2 great-grandparents on Jason's side. And until a year and a half ago he had all 4 great-grandparents on my side. (Oh how I wish Granddaddy were still alive. He and Grant would have such a wonderful time together now.)

Since all 3 of my grandparents live within 10 miles of us, we threw a little cupcake party on Grant's actual birthday with all of his "Greats" and "Grands" who live in town. :)


These are my dad's parents who just moved from Louisiana and now live literally less than 1/2 a mile from our house. So special.

Grant and Mimi....these make my heart break in the most bittersweet way. Love them both so much. And those 2 have a most special relationship. Grant is very sweet with Mimi and she's a tad crazy about him too. ;)

Grant wanted blue, green, and purple cupcakes so we whipped up some fun colored icing. :)




I think this kid was WELL celebrated on his 3rd birthday. :) Thanks to all of you who made it so special. Happy birthday, Grant! Mama and Daddy love you so much!
