And we did a little Easter egg dyeing. Did you know there are NINE colors in the Paas kits now? I feel like that's waaaayyyy more than when I was a kid.
And lest you think we have forgotten about the true reason for Easter, rest assured there has been lots of teaching going on in our house using these....

Mom used to have a homemade set of these when we were growing up and it's one of my most vivid memories of Easter celebrations at our house. Such a great way to tell the Easter story for kids (and adults) of all ages.
Anxiously awaiting resurrection Sunday tomorrow, amen?!?! :)

we JUST bought our Paas kit last night-- nothing like being last minute! Guess that's on the agenda for today! :-)
I need to look into those Resurrection eggs for next year. Have you seen the recipe for the Resurrection cookies? I haven't been very organized this week (B gave me his cold-- thanks!) but hopefully I can get my act together for better religious instruction next Easter!
Looks like fun!! We have resurrection eggs too - look for the book "Benjamin's Box" through Family Life Today. The story is wonderful - Grant will like it when he is a bit older and there is a page for every egg. Happy Easter to you all!
