We Love BAYLOR Yes We Do!

We knew our odds, but Grant and I still cheered for Baylor against the Longhorns on Saturday. We wore our green and daddy was very patient with us. We have several schools represented between the 2 of us including Baylor and UT but when the 2 meet, I am a Baylor fan and Jason is a UT fan. Of course, Uncle Craig, who bleeds burnt orange and was actually at the game in Austin yesterday, was kind enough to text us and wish us good luck. Turns out even Grant in his cute Baylor onesie (thank you, Fitzhughs) and booties wasn't luck enough to pull off the biggest upset of the year. Oh well.




We sent mom home on Saturday for some much needed rest (she has been staying with us during the week and helping me with everything from 3am feedings to laundry to cleaning, etc.). And we have just tried to feed the little man and get some sleep in between. The highlight of the weekend was date night! My parents kept Grant and let me and Jason go out to dinner. It was my first real outing except for dr.s visits I'd been on since Grant arrived. I had a yummy steak and glass of wine and actually felt like a normal person for the first time in 3 weeks! It was GREAT! Thanks mom and dad for encouraging us to get out for a little while.
