Jason was very sweet and woke me up this morning for my first and only "mother-to-be" Mother's day. To mark the occasion he had bought a baby booty charm with "mother-2-be" engraved on the bottom. So thoughtful. :)Also included in my pink gift bag this morning was a baby name book called "The Baby Name Wizard" by Laura Wattenberg. As some of you know we had major problems even picking out our dog's name. There were several tense moments and possibly even a few fights along the way. All was settled amicably and we decided on a name we both liked but it was rough getting there.
So we've been a bit nervous at the thought of having to name a human if naming a dog was so hard. Hopefully this book is going to help. We've looked through it some already and it actually gives you some guidance to "finding the perfect name for your baby." We'll see if Laura Wattenberg is really a wizard and can help us come up with a name without starting World War III! :)
We'd also like to wish some very special people a very happy Mother's Day! A big hug and kiss to Jason's mom in Darien, CT; to my mom (who we actually got to hug and kiss today) in Coppell, TX; to my Aunt Janice in Albuquerque, NM; to Jason's grandmother, Gram, in Reedsburg, WI; to my grandmothers, Mimi (who we also got to hug and kiss today) in Coppell, TX and Mammaw in DeRidder, LA; to Jason's Safran Aunties: Eileen, Mary, Lisa, and Sandy and his Mazurek Auntie Joan all spread through WI and IL; to Jason's cousin, Erin, also in IL; and to my best friend, Emily, on her first Mother's Day in Jessup, MD. Hope you all had a wonderful day and know how special you are to us!

I am honored to be in such special company in your blog shout-out! Thanks so much! Can't wait to see you Wednesday-- we need to make some plans! (um, I don't really mean PLANS since I'd be thrilled just to hang Chez Safran for a few hours...let's just connect soon about times, etc.)
happy happy mother's day! can you imagine how different your life will be NEXT mother's day!! you are so blessed! :0
I can't even wrap my brain around it at this point, Court. :) But you're right, we are very blessed!
happy mother-to-be day!! we've had a hard time agreeing on boy names. my favorite website to look at names is the Social security administration. www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/ you can choose any year and see the top 1,000 names for boys or girls. each different spelling of a name counts as a different name, but it has been very helpful!
I noticed that you had on that bracelet on Sunday, but I had no idea that you got it that morning. Jason is too sweet!!!
