We spent a beautiful morning out on lake Grapevine today. Craig and Jessie were able to join us before they headed back to Austin and we enjoyed breakfast on the boat and a liesurely tour of the lake (until the breakdown but that's another story and all turned out fine). So Lil Saf had his/her first boat ride and so did Dakota! I hope Lil Saf loved it as much as Dakota did because that pooch had a GREAT time. Her papa was so proud of her first attempt at swimming too. Her mama was just glad she could float (I had a doggie life vest just in case).
We go for our 16 week sonogram tomorrow. We're a little hopeful we might find out if we're having a 'He Saf' or a 'She Saf', but it will all depend on how cooperative Lil Saf is while on the big screen. If not, we'll know by the end of June for sure. So cast your vote before it's too late!
Happy Memorial Day everyone! And our hat is off to all of you who serve, have served, or have loved ones who have served our country. Granddaddy, Poppy-Ray, and Grandpa Ed, thank you for sacrificing so much for the freedom we enjoy today. Your service is not forgotten and we are flying our flag today especially in your honor.

I made Seth vote and he picked boy so we're now split. I am very curious to hear whether Lil Saf makes it obvious at your appt! LOVE the pic of Mimi and Dakota!
