Scottsdale

Ohhh, Scottsdale....how we love you! My very kind in-laws are gracious enough to let us spend time at their 2nd home in Scottsdale whenever we can get out there and we seem to take advantage of it at least once a year. This year was no exception. After walking the strip in Vegas for several days we headed to Scottsdale to put our feet up. :)

Our first stop? A couples massage at The Boulders Resort and Spa which is also where we spent last year's anniversary. I'm sensing a theme with this whole massage thing. Not a bad tradition we're setting up here if I do say so myself.

After a relaxing day at the spa we soaked in the hot tub at home and crashed early. The next day we got to catch up with my cousin, Sean, who lives in Scottsdale. He came over after work and showed us a good time.

Fun with Sean's AZ chic sunglasses....

Sean took us to Pita Jungle for dinner (very yummy!) and then we headed next door for dessert at....

...also affectionately known as the "G" Spot which makes me grin. :)

The next day we were ready for a bit of a challenge so we hiked the 3.5 mile trail up and around Pinnacle Peak. I'll admit to being a little sore the next day but it was fun. Great views from up there.

Jason made it to the driving range to hit some golf balls while I soaked it up with a mani/pedi at the salon down the street. And we topped off the day with a little wine and appetizers on the deck to watch the sunset.

And look where our bottle of wine was from, Linda A.!!!

We thought of you and Jan when we saw the label. :)

And speaking of Lindas, I always think of you darling Cha-cha's, Linda, Laurie, Anjie, and Sara, whenver we're out there. Miss you girls!

It was a great trip celebrating 7 years together and I can honestly say I love you more with each year that passes, hon! Thanks for such a fun time!
