31 Flavors

Jason turned 31 on Friday and we had a really good time celebrating him! We checked into the Gaylord Texan right here in Grapevine at 8:30am Friday morning and Gigi and Grant joined us for the morning. The theme for the summer at the Gaylord is Alice in Wonderland so there were all kinds of fun themed characters and decorations...



And then we headed out to the pool and let Grant splash around....



After Grant and Gigi left Jason and I headed up to our room to change out of our swim suits and head to the spa where we had a couples massage. So great! :) Here are a few pics of the view from our balcony.....

After massages and dinner we headed out to the night club at the resort to watch the sunset over the lake...



And once the sun went down the fireworks show started.....I really went all out for Jason's birthday this year (wink, wink)!

And to top off the night we saw the band, Vertigo, from Chicago who plays nothing but U2 songs. Jason LOVED it. :)

We slept late the next day and then headed to the pool where we lounged and lunched before heading back to reality. Hope you had a fabulous birthday, hon! I sure enjoyed it. :)
