Happy Easter

Oh the joy that Easter brings and we have had more than our fair share! We had such a fun Easter egg hunt at school on Thursday. I was actually impressed at how much Grant like putting the eggs in his Easter bucket. Yes, we had a blue tin bucket for our eggs instead of a basket.

On Saturday we headed up to church for the annual Easter Eggsperience. We met our friends Paige and Joshua and our friends Melanie and Caden for some egg hunting, petting zoo fun, and even some mini bounce houses for the little tykes. We wrapped up the morning with a loverly picnic outside with Mel, Caden, Gigi, and Gippy. It was a gorgeous day!

But the very best part of this whole weekend is today....Resurrection Day! I can't get through an Easter morning service without the tears spilling over and today was no exception. The sanctuary was packed and full of praise for today is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice for HE IS RISEN!

This is the best family picture we could manage this morning. :)

And then Grant opened his Easter basket with a battery operated bubble blower! Oh my how much fun we've had....

...until the bubbles quit blowing for awhile due to mechanical difficulties.

Family and friends came over for lunch and we donned our bunny suit handed down from our friends Paige and Joshua who we saw on Saturday and had fun with Auntie Jill's wagon in the backyard.

Even sweet Dakota was festive in her Easter bandana courtesy of the groomer. :)

We give thanks for days like these. For family and friends and for a Savior who died and rose again for the sake of ALL who will believe. Happy Easter!

We went to Irving Bible Church this morning and Michael's mom said she thought you guys went there as well? If so, we really enjoyed the service. And if not, oops!

Grant looks adorable! I love the bunny outfit! :
