Grandaddy died on Monday, February 22nd and mom turned 60 on Friday the 26th. We were to be in Scottsdale for a big birthday celebration however plans were obviously canceled. We could not let her big day pass without celebration, though, as Grandaddy would have been so upset to know that we didn't "go on with the show." So, I hit up party city for party costumes, ordered a cake, and a couple of tequila shots later we were all feeling much better. :) Grandaddy would have been proud. We wish he could have been there.

So glad your mom was able to celebrate her 60th, although I am sure it was bittersweet. Wendy and I would love to grab lunch with you and your mom sometime VERY soon to celebrate.
