Celebrating in Style

Well, I think we rang in Jason's big 3-0 with some good celebrating. Grant and I delivered balloons and a cookie cake to his office and then took Jason out for lunch at one of his favorite sushi restaurants. I did not think to snap any pictures so you'll have to take my word for it that we had a good time. :)

Later that afternoon I dropped the G-man at Mom and Dad's and took Jason out to our FAVORITE pizza place of all time.....Scalini's. Seriously the BEST pizza ever and this is coming from one who grew up in Chicago. Love it. But the very best part was we took our "best ever" pizza around the corner to this place:

It's a wine bar that allows you to bring in food since they only serve desserts and appetizers. Such a GREAT idea! We sampled 4 different wines while we enjoyed our pizza and opened birthday presents.

It was a very fun night and we definitely enjoyed eating our pizza in an even more fun atmosphere.

And I'm sad to say that I'm still such a light-weight. My couple of glasses of wine left me a bit tipsy and subsequently very excited to see this street sign:

as that is the last name of our good friends Ryan and Melissa. Which is exciting but not perhaps as exciting as tipsy Lindsay thought it was. :) But there you go Ryan and Melissa, you were thought of last night. Haha!

Okay, I weigh like 30+ lbs more than you and I'd definitely be tipsy after a COUPLE of glasses-- go YOU!!! :-) (I'm sure tipsy Linds was a fun b-day prezzie for Jason!) Looks like you had a great time! Wish we could have been there. (Yes, I would have invited us along.)

I love times ten cellars, we had our rehearsal dinner there! They are awesome, and I am sad to say...after not drinking for 10 months....2 glasses the other night put me over the edge!

Thanks for the shout-out! We don't like to brag, but as you can see, we're pretty important in these parts.
